LAUVRION – Return & Refund Policy (EN)
1. General
Lauvrion produces in small, exclusive batches. Every item is carefully inspected before shipment. This policy is written in accordance with European consumer law and Shopify guidelines. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms below.
2. Right of Return (EU Consumer Law)
Customers within the European Union have the right to return an online purchase within 14 days of receiving the order.
Conditions:
• The item must be unworn, unwashed and undamaged
• All original tags, labels and packaging must be included
• Trying on is allowed, but only indoors and without any scent or signs of wear
Returns that do not meet these requirements will be refused.
3. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.
We recommend returning items with tracked shipping.
If the mistake is on our side (e.g., wrong item, defect upon arrival), Lauvrion will cover the return shipping costs.
4. Exchanges and Refunds
Exchanges (preferred):
Customers may exchange an item for a different size or color, subject to availability. Exchanges take priority over refunds.
Refunds:
If an exchange is not possible, a refund will be issued within 14 days after the returned item has been received and approved.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Pre-Orders
All pre-order items are produced specifically for the customer in a limited quantity.
For this reason:
Pre-orders cannot be cancelled after the order has been placed, including during the production period.
Customers agree to this during checkout.
Returns after delivery are still allowed under EU consumer law, as long as the product meets all return conditions.
6. Sale Items
Sale items may be returned, provided they meet all standard return requirements.
7. Defects and Transport Damage
Any defects or damage must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the order, including clear photos.
Reports submitted after this period cannot be accepted.
If a defect is confirmed, Lauvrion will replace the item or issue a refund.
8. Knitwear Policy (Merino Wool)
Lauvrion knitwear is crafted from high-quality Merino wool. Due to the natural properties of wool, light pilling may occur with wear.
This is normal and not considered a manufacturing defect.
Pilling is therefore not covered under warranty, although we are happy to advise customers on care and prevention.
9. Return Exclusions
A return may be refused if:
• The item shows signs of wear, washing, damage or stains
• Tags or labels are missing
• The item carries scents such as perfume, deodorant or smoke
• The return is submitted after the 14-day window
• The item has been customised at the customer’s request
10. Regions Covered
These return conditions apply exclusively to customers within the European Union.
